Haley and Jared—true old souls—wove their love of vintage details throughout a wedding celebration that unfolded over two days in Des Moines and Ames. Their first day began with an intimate photoshoot at home, where Haley’s mom joined her as she got ready. After capturing those quiet, meaningful moments, they headed to a beautiful Catholic ceremony, followed by an intimate evening dinner with close friends and family at The Surety Hotel in downtown Des Moines.
On the second day, Haley and Jared got ready in the penthouse suite at The Surety—a space they chose intentionally for its rich Art Deco details. That evening, extended family and friends gathered at Noce for a vintage-inspired night of jazz and dancing.
One of my favorite parts of the weekend was stealing them away for portraits among the Art Deco architecture surrounding their hotel, including just across the street at the Des Moines Building—one of the city’s most iconic Art Deco gems.
